Let me be honest: I am a Christian. Jesus is my home. He is the lens through which I see everything. But a healthy home has windows, not just walls. Spiritual growth, in my book, means you become so secure in God's love for yout hat you are no longer afraid of other people’s beliefs. You can sit with a Buddhist, a Jew, an agnostic, or a pagan, and instead of feeling threatened, you feel curious. You ask, 'What is the Spirit of the living God doing in your life?' And you listen. Growth is when your identity in Christ is so firm that you can affirm the genuine goodness you see in others without feeling like you've betrayed your own faith. In fact, I think that's exactly what Jesus would do.
